Perched up above Balmoral Beach, this house is arranged over three levels. The living spaces are on top enjoying beautiful Southerly harbour and district views. The roof opens up to the north through a series of sculpted highlight windows, scooping up the sun all day long. The house opens up to a garden at the north, with bedrooms and bathrooms on the elevated ground level arranged around a series of lush courtyards.
The build incorporates over 30,000 recycled bricks. The interior palette is a subtle arrangement of muted tones, a respite from the saturation of Sydney beachside summers. The house is monumental and quiet. We look forward to photographing professionally when the native landscape matures.
